Shingan Dojo Iasi was established in the winter of 2003 by a group of enthusiasts, willing to discover and learn the martial art of the ancient japanese warriors, as teach nowadays by Soke Masaaki Hatsumi in Noda, Japan. Starting with small meetings and training in open spaces around Iasi, borrowing a corner of a dojo from our Shotokan friends, or traveling to a different city one's, this group is now forming the "senior" members segment in the dojo.
Team We are a small but motivated team, and we are doing our bests to train and honor into the traditional acceptance of the "Art of the Martial Arts". We are glad to gather here former practitioners of many well known and respected martial arts, and each of these disciplines's knowledge is used as a base stone in our experience as we value all of our teachers efforts throughout the times. |
Training Schedule So far, our training is hosted by C.S.S. Unirea Iasi training hall, twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday between 18.00 and 20.00. Additionally, open air sessions are scheduled. We also attend to local, national, or international seminars organized by Bujinkan Romania or by the affiliated Romanian dojos. |
A bunch of thanks
We are grateful to Sensei Cristian Laiber, the Bujinkan Romania Chief-Instructor, who authorized and supported our initiative and training, and whose continuous guidance and assistance is capital for our activity.
A big "thank you" to Tetsuzan Dojo - Bacau, whose training support, teachings and guidance helped us found our dojo. Another bow to Sensei Ryo Onishi who suggested the dojo's name, and to Catalin Necula for his support and consultancy.
